GERALD A. PARKER, CPA

   Gerald A. Parker, CPA is President and CEO of PMK Consultants, Inc. Mr. Parker has over 30 years of diversified experience in information technology consulting. He has also served as President of Marchbanks & Parker, Inc., a software development company, and was a Manager of consulting with Ernst & Young. He has held several other responsible positions, including serving as programming manager for a computer services company, as business manager for an auto dealer, and as an auditor with KPMG. He has extensive experience in developing and implementing software applications for manufacturers and distributors and has managed many turnkey implementations of new computer systems. Notable accomplishments include helping to develop some of the first personalized computer generated letters for direct mail clients, the design and development of the first successful advance sale route distribution software package, and design of a comprehensive financial and personnel management system for one of the first job corps centers. He has extensive experience with computer systems including IBM mainframes and AS/400 systems, UNIX systems and networks, and Novell and Windows NT networks. He is knowledgeable and experienced in a number of technical areas including Local and Wide area network design, frame relay communications design and implementation, and software applications development and implementation. He conducts seminars on Windows NT and Windows 95 and other technical subjects for CPA's and has written articles for the Journal of Accountancy and other publications. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Parker served ten years as an officer and Navigator in the U.S. Air Force, both active duty and reserves.

 

JERRY L. MARCHBANKS, P.E.

Jerry L. Marchbanks, P.E. is Vice President of Consulting with PMK Consultants, Inc. Mr. Marchbanks has over 35 years of experience in management consulting and software systems development. He has extensive experience in implementing customized software packages in job shop manufacturers and wholesale distributors. He also has extensive experience in analyzing software needs and developing cost effective software applications. Mr. Marchbanks has held a number of other positions including serving as Chairman of Marchbanks & Parker, Inc., a software developer, as President and General Manager of a computer services company, and as a Senior Manager of Consulting Services with Ernst & Young. While with Ernst and Young, Mr. Marchbanks worked extensively developing management by objectives (MBO) and zero based budgeting procedures for both commercial and government clients. He has published a number of articles relating to scheduling systems management and program based budgeting for state and local governments. Mr. Marchbanks has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from St. Mary's University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and is a Certified Data Processor (CDP). He served seven years as an officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
